Manual Dovetail Routing Machine
Transportable and adaptable bench-top machine, to rout a single dovetail slot with each machine cycle for Hoffmann Keys size W-0 / 1 / 2 / 3.
Mode of operation
- Set the stops to size and insert the workpiece.
- The workpiece is clamped when the handle is pressed down. The milling unit moves to the set milling depth.
- The finished part is released again when the handle is returned Complete.

Manual Dovetail Routing Machine
Function
Position and secure the fence plate and lay the work-piece against it. By drawing down the hand lever, the workpiece is clamped and the motor starts. Continued pressure on the lever raises the router unit through the workpiece and to the pre-set routing depth. When the hand lever is returned to its original position, the motor switches off automatically and the routed work-piece is released.
On the model version MU 3-D the routing position, as well as the routing depth are digitally displayed to an accuracy of 1/10th mm.

Pneumatic Dovetail Routing Machine
Function
Position and secure the fence plate and lay the work-piece against it. By actuating the foot pedal, the work-piece is pneumatically clamped and the motor starts. The router unit rises through the work-piece and to the pre-set routing depth. When the routing depth is reached the unit returns to its home position and switches off. The routed workpiece is then released.
On the model version MU 3-PD the routing position, as well as the routing depth are digitally displayed to an accuracy of 1/10th mm.

Horizontal, Manual Dovetail Routing Machine
Function
The work-piece is positioned against the centre-fence and the routing length (left & right) is set. By pressing the pneumatic footpedal the work-piece is clamped. The motor is switched on manually and the motor unit is drawn to the set router length. When the part is routered the unit is brought to the middle position, motor switched off and the workpiece is removed after releasing the footpedal.

Hand Router Unit
Function
The routing position is marked on the work-piece. The MF-4 unit is positioned on the work-piece and secured with screws or G-clamps. The unit then routers manually to the router depth stop. For high precision routing also in the horizontal position.

Manual dovetail routing machine
Function
By operating the hand lever, the work-piece is clamped. Continued pressure raises the router unit to a predetermined depth. Releasing the pressure returns the router to its home position, the motor switches off and the work-piece clamping is released. Position of the fencing is made manually.
